Minimad - my understanding was that the UK Aux Lighting Kit did not include the switch, relays and many other items that are supplied in the U.S. kit since they automatically run off the high beams. Depending on where you live, they may or may not be legal.

After wrestling with the idea of installing PIAA or Hellas (for all the reasons correctly noted above) I just ordered the U.S. kit from Classic Mini who supplied them for $320.00 with the NAM discount.:smile: Figuring that I'll install them myself on a Saturday, that's pretty good value and at least I'm keeping everything OEM.

Made good use of the first half of Thanksgiving Day and installed the lights - way more involved than originally thought but they came out great. Certainly earned the turkey this year.

Actually the only physical difference between the two kits is the lack of the switch. All the rest is included. I boke into the wiring harness and added my own switch.
