I was thinking of replacing this part that recently got damaged but I don't know the exact part number and its seems like a tricky one. I'm hoping someone here can help me out!

My car: 2011 Cooper S hardtop with a JCW Aerodynamics package.

What I need is the front spoiler piece, also known as a front air dam I think. Here are the two part numbers I have.

or
51117283330

My production date was in May 2011 I believe.

Here is the part diagram on the newer JCW Aero Bumper. There are some year splits, but the biggest change is the front lip is the continuous one with and add on slot piece in the middle. #4 and #5



Match up the parts to what you have but from 4/2011+ 2011 MINI Cooper S hardtop ( R56 )

I'm looking at both pieces on your website and they look exactly the same. Just curious, is there an actual difference? Because one is priced higher but they both seem to have that removable piece.

 

You are talking about #5 ? 51117283330 above vs 51112759387 diagram above.

51112759387 Shows for the MINI Cooper JCW GP2 and R58 R59 , they looks almost identical, but if you look on the bottom there is an extra oval shaped hole , what would be the driver side.

Also since they share the same center section the main piece #5, #4 GP2 version might have a slight more aero form , even though you cannot see it since its on the GP2 and the R58 / R59. Which might be a wind tunnel development.
