OK. I inherited this roof rack with the purchase. Can anyone show me exactly what I need to do to remove the rack? I have included the pic.

I loosen the nut facing towards and it didn't do anything. Please help.

 

So after countless attempts and 2 days, I removed the middle section and loosen the copper bolt, still does not budge. Frustrated at this point, I just began to wiggle the hell out of that thing and it popped out. I went ahead and did the same thing to the rest of the clamps.

Still I think it should be easier than the way I did it. I think I was missing the tool to pull the "feet" together. I will put some pics of before and after up later on.
