ScangaugeII HP

I'm thinking of getting ScangaugeII for my 2013 R56.
How accurate is it when measuring HP with mods? Does it read torque and boost? What other cool things can you do with it?

I will let others answer your SGII questions. I will only say that I looked at the SGII and wound up with a UltraGauge. Seems to have very similar features at a better price.

Thanks! Yes it is a far better price. Do
You know if the boost (psi), horsepower, torque, intake temp, Air/Fuel are all supported on the Mini Cooper with the Ultragauge? They said the gauges depend on support from the car. Those are the gauges I'm really care for. Not trying to buy it and none is compatible with the car.

I am running a Bluetooth OBDII adapter and the Torque Android app. Boost/Vaccum, Torque, Horsepower, Intake Temp, Air/Fuel all work on the MINI.

The only thing I question is the accuracy of the HP and TQ readings. Not sure how the car or the gauge calculates it, but I doubt my 07 S with only a muffler delete and blow off adapter is making 215hp lol.

But the other gauges I use regularly seem to read quite accurately.

Good. That's all I needed to know. I wanna see what numbers my car puts out. I have mini connected with the virtual dyno and I just wanted to see if the hp number and TQ number matched up with the Scangauge.

I have a 2013 Clubman S and the fuel PSI cant be read by the Scangauge2. Boost, water and oil temp, voltage, a/f, HP, ignition, etc are all available.

The UG has boost, HP, Torque, Air Flow, etc. etc. In fact, it has two different HPs and two different torques but I'm not precisely sure how they are calculated.

http://ultra-gauge.com/start/ will let you download the manual for the UG, perhaps that will answer your questions better than I can.

Does the Performance X meter on the ScangaugeII work with the mini?
Like the quarter mile time. 0-60mph. 60-0mph. All that jazz.

Okay, I am trying to get into the whole Scangauge thing. I understand that it shows you a lot of data about the engine and stuff that you would not necessarily see if without one. But is the installation very involved? What connection has to be made? Does the gauge itself come with everything you need to install this on your Mini. Is there a specific model for different vehicles?

Please help me with this info...

It just plugs into the OBD port under the dash above your left knee.
