so my recent CEL issue suddenly went away on my drive home. but the incident made me want to buy and hook up a scangaugeII. So I received it and wanted to monitor the temp. during my drive to work this is what I recorded.


No AC no sport: 218-220
No AC with sport: 220-224
With AC no spot: 170-174
With AC with sport: 175-185


my car fan still doesn't turn on when I turn my car off when I park at work. are these numbers normal? also, when I scanned for stored codes, nothing came up on the scangaugeII, but I was able to still clear codes in one of the options.

 

Those are in the normal ranges. I'm a bit surprised that the "No AC with sport" isn't down further; with many R56es hitting the sport button tells the system to run at its cooler setting, 180-200F instead of 210-220F. But that could be model-year specific.
