Interior/Exterior Flat load floor
Flat load floor
My countryman did not come with a flat load floor... So the rubber boot mat will not fit in the back. I am currently looking into if it is possible to have the flat load floor installed... Does anyone know if this is possible?
I think one person on here managed to order all the retrofit parts but I don't remember ever seeing it installed. Try searching the main countryman forum, there was a lengthy discussion about it.
there's a few threads around of people who've built them themselves.
i don't have one either but all the "fittings" are there to install one. i'm also thinking about it because the weathertech liner fits really bad without it.

The BMW dealer here doesn't seem like a big help ... The parts guy is happy to order the parts tho.. And I'm not sure if There is extensive tear down Before I can build it up. It looks like you just install the parts over the felt...?
looks like #10 is the FLF itself. confirm with your parts guy or justin at seawell before you order. ALSO.. see if your boot is prepped for the FLF. there's tabs built into the interior side panels for the floor to lock into.
I went to the dealer today.. The head mechanic wants to take my mini which does not have the Flat Load Floor.. And one that does.. Disassemble both boot areas.. Just to see if its possible to instal the FLF in mine ... OH and charge me 120$ for shop labor time...

Thank you for the inquiry! Congratulations on the new ride!
Unfortunately it is not economically feasible to retrofit the flat load floor into the 2013 Countryman.
It would require replacement of all of the rear side & floor panels, including mounting the hardware for the flat load floor. We have priced it out for customers before and the parts alone total between $500-$700. Labor would be estimated at approximately $300-$400.
Please let me know if you have any further questions, or if you are looking for anything else for your Countryman!

Actually the fit isn't too great even WITH the flat load floor. I have a '13 with bench seats and the 'laser measurements' they took were on an '11 with split buckets. I'm going to end up returning mine.
I put together an excel sheet with all the parts and pricing for the FLF. I plan on ordering all the parts I need from my dealer in the coming week when I have some time. It comes out to roughly $700-800 in parts alone. If anyone is interested then let me know and I can share the excel sheet with them.
