>>yes it have the jcw logo... like our picture

If it has JCW logo, then it'll look exactly the same as the set in the MC40. Nice!

i went to my dealer after hearing about the new car. Upon further investigation though i decided not to buy it because even though it is from the factory, its really just a piece of s**t. the piece that covers the airbag from what i've heard is either not even there, or is very crudley put on. I'm getting mine from either mini mania, or some other sites that i know of that sell them on the internet

@ SuperDuperMiniCooper

hello, you are not right. the dashboard is a fully replacement kit. you replace also the complete airbag cover. you can see this on the detail picture in our shop. you have the same mounting holes on top of the airbag cover like the original one.

Dont be fooled

I think the reason they brought out this item is to move thru the 1000 special edition cars that they have. I like most people look at this car and say "yea I love it but it aint worth $7000. This is the wat to say Daa...the wheels are $2200 and the dash is $1400.......

Carbon fiber is not cheap but mass produced it should be more like $600. You can say its cuz its a BMW or cuz its done by JCW...I say its to move through the cars they got that dont sell.

It's done by a process called imersion graphics. We can do any part. We will be adding more since we are turning our attention to the Mini the same way we do for the Nissan 350Z which you can see a variety of things we do for it here http://www.elegantwooddesign.com/350zphoto.htm

Here's the "Let's see if he's a sucker " quote I got when wanting to remove dash and other pieces for painting. For another $1K I could paint the whole car!!

Good morning Jeff,
Here are the labor cost to remove and reinstall the items that you have listed.
1. Dash piece's and center console down tubes $306.00
2. Both door panels and arm rest $408.00
3. Front bumper cover and wheel arches $204.00
4. Rear bumper cover and wheel arches $204.00
5. Both lower door sills $163.20
6. Front grille - should be purchased new, painted and installed. When removing the grille the pins that hold it in place break.
$102.00 to remove old and install new.
Please let me know if you would like for us to get started.

Recently Installed JCW Carbon Fibre Dash

Well, I've had the JCW dash in the car for a few weeks now and love it. Yes, it is pricey, but it really does help cure some of the "plastic" feel from the stock interior. Got it from CTD-Germany. Took awhile for shipment to get stateside but had great service from CTD.

I have just send an e-mail to the admins in order to not interfer with any forum rulez and regulations. More info about these kits and the other stuff available will follow once I get the go ahead.

@ mistral

the parts you talk about is the same production. original plastic parts covered with real carbon fiber mats.

the john cooper works kit is also made of real carbon fiber mats. the back original plastic parts are for perfect fitting w/o modifications. (no glue or whatever)

but only the john cooper works kit has the official permission of BMW!

@ Tino

These parts are manufactured the same way but are not the same production. The BMW/MINI carbon kits are manufactured in eastern Europe. The ones I am talking about are manufactured in Germany. As both use the original parts, no permission of BMW/MINI is required as long as there is no logo on it. BMW/MINI will launch a limited edition (1200 cars) next year with this carbon fibre dash without the JCW logo. Selling price in Germany for the JCW kit is 1145 Euro, this one goes for 949 Euro ( both incl. VAT).

Who wants the JCW logo goes for the JCW kit. Who wants without logo or wants a customised logo has the choice now.

Let´s not argue what is better. It doesn´t take us anywhere. Simply let the customer decide.

Hey dcsmd07: Where did you get your dash painted from(If it's painted and approx the cost to have it done) if it's not painted what did you do to it to make it look that cool. Also, where did you get your Steering Wheel, shift boot, and brake handle and boot from? Man does your interior look sweet...

Thanks,
Markp

Small but important detail! Customers outside the EU can deduct 16 % VAT of the given price.

CF kit 5-pcs (or the new 3-pcs): 818,00 Euro = +/- $982,00

Thx AlexN for the hint.
