WeatherTech floorliner review

After considering the oem rubber floor mats and deciding that between kids and snow that they would not do the job, I decided to get the WeatherTech floorliners. Since I'm only about a half hour from the manufacturer I took a drive down to the Weather Tech factory store.

My wife has always bought WeatherTech floor mats for all her cars so for the most part the fit is what I expected. They do not have any listings for a 2013 MCS yet but as far as I know my 2012 should be exactly the same. With that said, the hooks that hold the liners in place are way off. The left hook on the drivers side is the only one that fit. If you look carefully you can see the edge of each velcro disk through the hook holes on the passenger side liner. Not a big deal since the mat fits in the space so well but if it was the drivers side I would have been a little concerned about it sliding.

The liner comes to about 2 inches of the gas pedal. I'm guessing they don't make it too close for safety reasons. I would have liked the liner to be higher on the right side of the drivers side, but I guess it'll have to do.

So, to clarify, this is a 2013 Mini Clubman S? I am looking for the same, and I can live with those tolerances. I just wanna make sure I get the right thing. How are the back mats?

Junk, just plain junk

Ordered these and they not only do not fit well, they slide around and every time I push my clutch in, it gets caught on the mat which gets pulled up and wedged into the pedal. I have to literally push it back against the floor. Not only does it not fit as shown above photos, it is just plain junk. I'll take some photos of my own and post. Just finished sending an email to Weather Tech sales and will be sending these back ASAP.
