Noreen99,
you are having difficulty getting the center console off to replace the shift boot? I have taken my center console off in the past (for wiring up some gauges to my cigarette lighter). ...the consule should come off easily after you remove the 3 screws (one in each cup holder, two up front and one in the back). Then I believe you have to slide the entire console back and then up. Was this what you were having trouble with?
Have you viewed the install instructions provided by RLGoods?

-I think you come in at about step 6 1/2 for the shift boot install and to remove the console.

Check out eR1c's pictures at the top of the thread - he did a MUCH better job installing his colorline - it looks much smoother than my instruction pictures. I was tentative with the adhesive and it shows, especially along the front seam edge. Just do it how he described and you'll be fine!

You can order sample swatches from redlinegoods here:

Also, keep an eye on the vendor announcement forum - they post a discount code about once a month.

eR1c - thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad to see that someone else has decided to do the colorline mod, and I'm thrilled to learn that the instructions were useful. I agree - redlinegoods stuff is great. High quality product and craftsmanship, and they are great to work with.

An update: I checked and I didn't break the clips on the key slot trim, I broke something else when I was trying to figure out how to remove the key slot. It was nothing you can break if you follow the instructions though.

Problem is after removing screws had to detach wiring under lighter, no problem white wire harness for sport button/ traction the last set seems to be the problem it should be the joystick and seems to be impossible to reach the tabs on the sides.
