Correct...although if you wish to stay within legal limits, you should check and see what your state allows.
Film choice can affect the price considerably. In Denver, I can get my CMS tinted for 200-ish but ceramic film ups the cost to $400 or more. I'm planning on getting Huper Optik Ceramic at around $500.

There are tint screens available from MINI for the side rear windows and for the back window. They take about 45 seconds to put in and about 5 seconds to take them out if you want to remove them.
