Why do those bonnet stripes stop a 1/4" short of the grille? Did they shrink in the sun or is that how you got it?
And the most asked question:
Where did you get the CF support rods (or whatever they're called) for the splitter?

Never really noticed the stripe being short. It came like that when I picked it up. The vin list says bonnet stripes was part of the package so i would assume it came from the dealer that way.

Absdynamics.com for the support rods. But go through ebay they are cheapier. The onlu reason why I went with abs is b/c these were suppose to be long (8"+) but it turns out to only be about 5".

Splitter look great on there glad you like..

Most factory stripes stop short of the grille and trim up by the windshield to keep from having to tuck it in there...

I thought tucking it in made it last longer, prevents peeling and it looks cleaner. Plus it would be easier to install, wouldn't have to worry about having an even gap on both sides.

And most importantly, the 1/10 of a mm that the vinyl sticks out causes extra wind resistence

Actually tucking them in sometimes wont last as long you have a small piece that is wrapped under the hood and that will come loose over time. I do agree that it would be better looking if they were wrapped under.

When I put stripes on my car or others I tuck it under, just saying the OEM ones usually aren't..
