I'm contemplating putting some flat black stripes on my MINI but wanted to get some insight on the maintenance and upkeep for flat vinyl first. Any insight is appreciated.

For the record, rain/grime is more of an issues than sun. I live in Seattle...

I have flat black stripes on the front and back. I have had them on my MINI for 6 months. I just went through the winter. Just treat them as any other stripe. There is nothing special to do or at least I havent in 6 months and they are they way they were when they were applied.

 

had mine since 09 ,treat them the as paint . wash & wax, looks as good as day one.
