Seat swap

Does anyone know if you can retrofit sport seats into a non s mini that came with the standard seats? If you can, anyone know approximate costs? Thanks!

Should not be a problem. Easy as taking 4 bolts our of each and disconnecting the seat wiring harness. Then put the new ones in connect the siring harness and bolt them back down.

As for cost have no idea, depends on if you get them from a used car parts place or new from a dealer.

yes, where are you located? I have a rear seat complete with all hardware from my 2010 mini cooper s for sale.

Don't forget to unhook the battery first! If you don't you'll set off the air bag light. That's an expensive mistake to fix...

LOL, no worries. I was just going to respond with a clarification when you re-posted. If you unplug the airbag sensors on the front seat without disconnecting the battery, it will throw an airbag fault. A few people on this board learned that costly lesson the hard way...
