LED exterior lights!

so, i bought two T10 white LED lights for my side turn signals... all works well, however, upon turning the car ON (whether starting it or not). they flash about 8 - 10 times... and after that they flash one time every 15 - 20 mins

i can only think it may be the car sending a diagnostic voltage to all the lights to check if any are out and bc the LEDS are so sensitive to voltage they are lighting up.

if anyone has another theory please feel free to lemme kno your opinion.

im not worried about it. just curious.

If you haven't figured it out yet, perhaps it is similar but opposite to the hyper-flash that is described on the www.superbrightleds.com website when you bring up search results for turn signal LEDs, and an LED flasher, or load resistor is required.

actually, i did as the service department at the dealership and they confirmed that it is in fact the OBC checking the lights. the incandescent lights dont flash bc they require more power to light up bc of the low amount of resistance, the LEDS flash.
