Interior/Exterior how difficult is it to install the JCW side skirts on our car?
how difficult is it to install the JCW side skirts on our car?
just saw the JCW body kit on a countryman in the dealer floor when I was picking up my car. Really nice. After inquiring, I was told that you can get the side skirts separately. How difficult do you think the installation would be? Anyone done it yet?
I replaced a side skirt on my R53 once (punched a hole in the driver's side
) and it was really simple. Just a few plastic grommets and a couple screws holding it on. I doubt it's very difficult.

Outmotoring has them, but hold onto your wallet! For the CM, the set is $1,153, unpainted. ($800 for the R56 and $950 for the Clubbie))

There is a thread here about a guy who took the stock black plastic skirts on his R56, sanded them smooth and painted them. They look great but of course, lack the little faux air intake at the front. Still, a good looking alternative to spending over $1100.

yup, I was quite shocked when I saw how much they were.... I mean, that's unpainted as well..... Yikes.... I guess I'll just save my $$$ for some wheels....
