You should totally paint it. Someone said it wouldn't flow with the black roof and I disagree. My car has painted arches and sideskirts and black roof and black wheels and I think it looks awesome. It's a cleaner look in my opinion. And, the pic of your car photoshopped with the trim painted looks so much better.

I ended up finding a shop that would do it for $600 with full satisfaction, etc. He was originally at $800 but I got it down. One shop quoted me at $2,300!!

Do you all think this is a good price or should I keep looking?

I don't think you'll do better than $600, if you can afford it, I'd do it.

Just my opinion but I think it looks great on solid colored MINIs. It looks ok on black roofed but not as well. Also, as has been stated already in this thread, the black roof looks good with the black arches but what the hell do I know? I have a solid Pepper White MINI and love my black wheel arches!

There's just something MINI about the black wheel arches. You don't see it on basically any other car. And honestly, the more I open this thread and see your car first thing...I like it more and more.

In the end, it's your car and your money. So do what you really want. I think it would look great either way.

What I think I'm gonna do is get a JCW side skirt and call it a day. I've been really looking at my car in the past few days and I really do think that the black matches the trim and the roof well. Plus I don't think it'd be worth $600. Rule of life: If you have to convince yourself to do something, don't do it.
The side skirt should clean it up a bit, though.

I think it will look good with just the skirt, I have been considering the same with my CR/W

JCW Aero Skirts I believe are like $650 without paint/labor. $600 for painting all the black trim is a great deal. If you were to do anything JCW go with the aero front bumper , which will cost similarly (or less) and make a bigger impact in its presence. Out of all your choices the trim paint seems like the best option so you don't have to buy and change anything out.

Honestly I really like the standard 2011 s front end, it has the brake ducts on it already, the only thing I would want to add is a diffuser but I live in Houston and afghani roads plus sweet diffuser is a bad combination.

Where do you find the JCW sides for $650?

Guy from Prestige Mini told me, then also told me that it would be almost double for my Clubman
