Changing 2-spoke to 3-spoke steering wheel

I picked up a great deal on a multi-function 3-spoke wheel. I am removing my old 2-spoke w/airbag. It is a multifuction as well.

My question is this: Can I install the new wheel without the airbag and still drive the car until I get a bag for the new wheel, or not? I was trying to find a thread but couldn't find anything.

You should be able to do that no problem. The only issue you are going to have is that the airbag warning light will go on. And the only way to get it off is to have it reset at the dealer.

Cool thanks! I was just going to use it until I get my airbag anyway. Just a temp thing!
