Once you mentioned tailgaters I liked this idea. I have used the front washers for this purpose before, but straight from the rear would be better.

Tip: I used a nozzle from a squirt gun- fit perfectly in the hose, and shot a nice stream on the highway. I usually timed it right when I get under an underpass (sun/shade transition) so tailgaiter doesnt see where it's coming from.

I'm impressed by your timely execution. All you need to do now is mount a GoPro on the rear and get someone to tailgate you. That'd be worth watching (that's until the video turns into a dangerous high speed road-rage chase, in which case I never said anything )

Thank you. I'm trying to do this with my new 06, but having quite a difficult time removing the arm from the motor. Even tried a puller~ suckers on there tight! Gonna try some other penetrating lube this weekend.

Funny how old ideas get reinvented...the get gen1 mini (till 2005) had a rear washer that could be pointed and squirt cars behind you....
It seems mini got wind of what folks were doing...and made the nozel fixed for the 2005+ model year cars....

maybe you can connect it to another reservoir that's filled with oil. That would be a true James Bond hack. We could start calling you Q.
