Checkered Mirrors

Finally got around to taking a picture of my painted color matched checkered mirror caps. The pic is in my gallery. Haven't figured out the URL thing yet. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Did you actually paint the mirrors or use tape.

I checkered my mirrors using flat black tape to match my roof wrap. I am not pleased with the results, its OK but not perfect. Which leads to my question, how did you get the pattern.

Oh, that's freaking awesome. I have white mirror caps, and I liked the checkered ones, but they seemed like they'd stick out so much. But body color/checkered is a great idea.

It is custom painted, clearcoat included. The pattern was copied from the black and white checked OEM model.
