Better Boost Gauge Tubes?

I recently installed the Autometer mechanical boost gauge using the Alta Pod. The gauges are so close to the dash that boost gauge tubes are getting crimped in the back resulting to a gauge that's always stuck at 0 PSI. Is there any tubes that won't crimp or a valve that's a bit smaller than the stock one that attaches to the back of the mechanical boost gauge?
