Paint/Primer Questions

I am painting some door handle covers. Would this flexible primer (below) be a good product to use before painting? The pieces do expand and contract a bit putting them on the car and I want to make sure the paint doesn't crack when applying. Would this (below) be beneficial? If not, any other suggestions?

Thank you

If it is a new part ( never painted before ) clean very well with IPA or reducer, apply adheasion promoter, prime, sand, paint and clear.
