BTW, the part is just in a slim plastic sleeve with a light cardboard backing. You should have no problem transporting as many as your duty free limit allows :-)
There appear to be two sizes...an "A" size, which the back sheet specs for Mini Cooper...but the store I was in only had the "B" size...so I measured it out to compare to the CM bumper top side and it was not over size by any thought...as you can see from my photos. The curve in the shape does not follow the bumper cuvre all that closely, but it's quite acceptable IMHO. The "A" size must be a much narrower strip.

Seems to match Tornado's description on packaging. I'll try to measure in person and verify. Tornado, if you have time to measure yours, that would be great!

 

Your link is the same item I bought. Can't recall the dimension, something close to 36" long, about 3" wide....but that's it all right.

 

Thanks days-like-this, I think a few posts back he mentioned an A & B size. Think he went with B.

 

Mine finally arrived. It appears to be of good quality and well fitted. It's raining here in DC so no fitment until Zaftig is washed and dried. Pics when the weather clears. In DC. Right.

I came back to this thread after seeing some light scratches on my bumper (packing for overnight trips will do that).

The Aesthetic Creations product is no longer available it seems.

I saw that the clear XPEL product is still available for $40.

I like the idea of the NGP but the order page says "backordered" and I hesitate to order one only to wait an indefinite amount of time for a batch to ship.

Has anyone come across any other options?

Tempted to make myself one from something off the shelf.

Just wanted to note that I installed the NPG one last fall, but I am a little disappointed that I noticed recently it seems a bit faded.

I just ordered one of the black one's myself and a sales rep advised me they were backordered and inquired whether I might prefer a carbon fiber (looking) one instead of waiting. I ended up getting one of the last carbon fiber ones. Should be on its way to me now. That rear bumper is just begging to be nicked up when it's naked like that.
