Hood Scoops

New to the mini scene and was wondering what options are out there for hood scoops besides the M7 stuff.

M7 fiberglas quality is crap & the bolts pull out so anything would be better.

I don't know how much longer my M7 scoop will stay on the car so I'm curious to see what people say about other brands...

Im not really into using the M7 from the start. So I tried the voltage scoops instead and it turned out to be a good one.

I also run the M7 Extreme Bonnet scoop, and I have had no issues. Car runs normally 9 to 11 above ambient. I have also put this on and removed it a few times during the winter months. and again no issues with broken bolts or anything.

I've got a M7 scoop and it has melted. I've gotta get a new one. I'd love something like the Voltage in CF but I've emailed him about it and he said he wouldn't sell it in all bare carbon fiber, only half painted for some reason. Wish there was another carbon fiber option out there...

I've never heard of one melting but anything is possible. Give the office a call and lets see what can be done about it .

Melted ? ...Damn thing nearly an inch thick

The paint on my R53 bonnet would be scortched before melting mine..and at that point a melted scoop would be the least of my worries....lol.

I don't have the extreme scoop as you do. Mine is clearly dimpled along the base. It will be taken off this week to inspect further...
