interesting...looks like a CV joint boot cover..or perhaps a small stack of cast iron weights...it's growing on me and I like the fact it's different

I was surprised that there wasn't a rubber boot beneath the plastico one. I think I remember my old Triumphs had them and was going to just rip off the cheap vinyl boot to expose it. Of course, it doesn't have one so I found another that fit just about perfectly.

Yeah they probably should have one to keep the dirt outta the linkage...seems like a good idea to me and the longer I look at your setup the more I like it but I havta admit at first glance I was like ..."what the hell is that?"...but honestly I do like the look now

Oh...it's not a chopped up CV boot It's made for the Tiburon's shifter that happened to fit perfectly.

I can't wait to toy around with mine when I take delivery in two or three weeks...it appears it will be endless as how you can modify and personalize a Mini...reminds me of old VW bugs in a way and hope to see alot of new stuff for the Coopers and pretty sure we will...I'm a carbon fiber freak and not just on cars, I just like the stuff and I have a few radio controlled helicopters made almost entirely of it. I'm definatley gonna start with a dash kit and I did see somewhere someones in the process of making door panels...already have the mirror covers and a few odds and ends and have had them for months...lol

I like it. Definitely unique. Out of curiousity, what are all of those cords you've got running to your cig lighter? Radar? GTech? GPS?

I like the boot! When I first read the title, I thought you're talking about the trunk (boot).
