No. Plasidip is good on it's own. A clear coat wouldn't stick very well anyway as the Plastidip is a rubber material.

yup sure am!! i just need to get door handle covers, black out tint for tail lights, black out front emblem, and paint the side scuttles. im having trouble getting them off! any other advice for removing them and painting them?

Remember, the blackout tint for the tailightgs greatly reduces your visibility, especially at night and I believe it's illegal in all 50 states as well. Proceed at your own risk. I like the look, but for me, safety (keeping myself as visible to bozos behind me) and avoiding the long arm of the law trump the looks.

I painted (plastidip) an extra set bought from NAM. Took off the red S sticker. Like to get these black jack lights for the scuttles but can't find them now.. not sure if i will like on car but it peels off. was planning on painting pw but will try this first.
