It was inevitable. On day 2 of ownership, I would have to drive our new Mini to work and park in one of those God awful parking garages. As I searched for a 'low risk' parking spot, I was thinking that some classy same color body side moldings to protect the beautiful doors might be a good idea. I don't recall these being an option? Anyone know?

Not that I recall seeing from MINI or someone high class aftermarket.

But then, there's always the original JCW: JC Whitney that is. Might even get the same color for both sides if it all works out...

I saw a car in a lot with magnetic side moldings made specifically for parking. The lady got out and put them on her doors. They were secured via a cable that ran inside the car so nobody could just take them.
