Im sure this has been discussed a hundred times. I just put on my mini factory base roof rack. I decided to go with the thule flat top 6 ski/snowboard carrier. I had seen in the past that someone had no issue with the install with the products supplied in the thule kit. I guess he fudged the products supplied to make it work. If anybody has any insight on how he may have done this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

 

You don't say what the problem is with the carrier on the rack.

I do know that I had to order a set of longer bolts than the standard length bolts that came with my kayak saddles because of the larger diameter of the cross bars on the MINI rack. If that is, indeed, the problem you're having, then getting the longer bolts is an easy fix.

Otherwise, I can't help without knowing exactly what problem you are having with your setup.
