Front Bumper Estimate

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know how much it would cost to replace the front bumper for a 2010 MCS? Also, any suggestion on where to get it fixed? Would it be the best to get it done at the dealership since they are an expert in fixing up MINIs?

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have one in HC (as new) sitting in my storage as I put Aero on my 2008 MCS Clubman last summer...

$400ish in parts. $200-300 in labor. For all new.

Is it broken or or just scratched? Because new would be expensive with labor. But used parts and paint is so much cheaper.

Old thread but just an FYI two winters ago I had a lady stall and roll back into me @ ~5mph max on a hill. She admitted fault and I got it replaced with a new bumper. It had the smallest ~2" crack right under the upper grill, but since its a cracked bumper it gets replaced.

Quoted out it was 1200$ for parts, clips, paint and labor, but ended up being $2300. No idea why so expensive, but thats what the bill said. Of course this wasn't on my dime so I had no complaints.

The paint is the expensive part.

I just had a hit and run on my door. Door is 372.XX. Total bill is around $1400.00. Its the disassembly, reassembly and paint. I would think a bumper would be cheaper, since I dont think they blend those and take apart half the car in the process, but I dunno.

Apparently a lot of these metallics are German made paints and the guy said they never really make a dime off of the paint / painting itself.
