Problem with my passanger door inner handle

Ok guys. I have this problem with my door handle. I cannt open the door from inside. I took the panel off, but the only reason is that the line is to long. WTF. How can this be repaired. Haate to be getting always out of the car to open the door. Only good thing about this is that my girls mom was impressed with me and said I was a gentelman because I opened the door for her

It looks like the line is to long. Can I replace just the line?

If you read the thread, yes...if that is the issue.
There is also pics and a diy on how to fix it, and info from mini in the above post!
