I have a lower grill that is silver but I'd like to paint it black. It's metal, but I'm not sure exactly what kind. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what type of paint I should use?

 

I used plasti dip. Works great. I also masked out the word mini. get creative!

 

Can plasti dip stand up to being pleted with stones etc.?

 

Plasti Dip holds up pretty well just give it Multply coats

 

Duplicolor makes a good product called Trim/moulding or bumper paint that is a satin black which works well for parts like this. Retains that factory look for the black plastics. It's more permanent as opposed to Plastidip.

Go to Home Depot and get some. Best thing about it is that if you don't like it, you can take it off. Unlike spray paint.

 

Plasti dip will hold up to stones. The best part though is that when it does finally starts to wear down, you can just clean it up and respray!!
