Question: R50 mood/footwell lighting

Hi all,

I am looking to install some orange-ish LED's in the footwells of my R50. Does anyone have any experience with good interior LED's? And how would I go about wiring them so that they only come on with the lights turned on. I'm a bit of a novice, so any tips would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Faberge,

I got mine from here: http://www.oznium.com/led-flex-strips and the orange matched perfectly. Since then, I've added other LED's from them and there are lots of threads on the subject of where to wire them here.

I just spliced and sodered my existing footwell lights to be wired inline. Now they are wired just like the factory lighting. They fade out just like oem.

Good Luck.

If you buy them long they can be trimmed to suit your needs.

I have been using their products for few years now with no issues, quick shipping too.

I have the 9.5 inch lights in my car. They fit great. All the others would be like playing Goldilocks with LED's.
