What are you trying to achieve? Are trying to get a glow from within the bumper cover? If you are, then you need to mount lights inside the bumper cover itself. Any waterproof LED lights from Advance or Autozone or oznium will work.

If you look a the pic closely I've marked out the location. Thinking about strip LED but Autozone quality didn't seem bright enough.

Well, I have the Alpena brand strip lighting on the outside of my bumper cover and when I run them during the day, you can see them. They might be alright for you at night time as well.

Im still confused as to what you are trying to illuminate. The road? or the inside of the bumper cover (underglow effect)?

Never mentioned where wanted illumination flowing. In this area would be definately forward. In my pic you will see black painted area. This is seen from outside of cover. Never heard feedback so did order strip lighting for customer. Will test the brightness & harsh element effects.

I mounted an led strip from oznium on the back aide of the metal piece between the top and lower grilles and behind the fromlnt bumper

Its illuminates the top and lower grilles nicely and isn't too much
