I just bought a MCS and was wondering about getting it polished and waxed before the winter slush starts to fly in Minnesota. Anybody have any suggestions or know of a good detail shop in Minneapolis that I can depend on.

Thanks for your help, I love my new car, what a blast.

Welcome TommyB!!! I hand wax my cars myself. Gives me great satisfaction. I know my cars more intimately. And it takes very little time with such a small car. Last weekend I waxed my MINI even though it was a bit chilly. She is still lookin' fine! (Can't take my eyes off of her.)

God speed.

im one of those guys that if the wind chill is above 30F, i will be outside
washing the car on the driveway. otherwise, id just take it to the
touchless wash, bring her home for a nice spray/mist detailer cleanup.

then if over 35F in the garage, i use soft carnuba wax and take it off
quickly.
