Has anyone painted the CD player, stereo and AC controls black in their R56? Possibly also the silver inserts on the steering wheel?

I really like the way it would look based on the new countryman interior:

All the silver plastic makes the interior feel really busy and cluttered to me

 

I'm looking to make all my ***** and buttons black as well. I've seen potential interiors for 2011 may have black parts. Perhaps we might be able to order just those parts. Who knows. Any info on this would help!

 

Actually, I thought the new interior made it look a little cheap.

 

Had an '06 with all black buttons, liked it. Currently blacking out the Rally Clubman and those buttons sure aren't black.
