Interior/Exterior Interior swap, prices?
Interior swap, prices?
Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone has ever swapped their interior (headliner) to the darker or lightter one, including the headliner, A,B,and C pillar covers, sun visors, "oh sh%$" bars, light fixture). Im looking to swap to the darker version but was wondering if anyone knew how much everything costed in the end.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I had done that, and it wasn't too bad. I wound up going the route of having my headliner re-upholstered by a local guy, that ran me about 150.00, and then the A, B, and C-pillar covers, light, handles, and visors cost me around $450.00, so an okay guess would be around 600.00 for the entire job.
I have heard that the Anthracite headliner can run upwards of 400.00 by itself from a dealer, and if you don't have an '05/'06 you will be left with some holes up in front where the oh-**** handle and side visor mount. The pre-'05's don't have the mounting points on the body required for these features, so you would have to fabricate your own or figure out what you'd want to do to cover these up.
When it comes to replacing those components, it really isn't that hard, just be prepared to practically gut your car save for the carpets and front dash. You WILL want to remove your front and rear seats, or else you will have a mighty hard time getting the headliner out the hatch.
Good luck, if you have any more questions, you can email me at chaseabryant@yahoo.com, as I don't get on here as much as I used to.
