I bought a 2007 mini that is chili red with the black and white Union Jack on the runroof and side scuttles. I love love love my mini but feel the need to "make it my own". I hate to remove all the stuff the other owner did but I need it to be MINE. Should I add stripes or redo the whole thing? Is there a web site to help design a look? I just don't know.

Welcome to the MINI family. Suggest visiting vendor websites: www.outmotoring.com www.cooperflags.com or www.aestheticcreations.com They will probably have something to help make it your own. Some bonnet & maybe some boot stripes might work. Good luck and post some pics when you decide.

There's a part of MINIUSA.com that lets you see what your car would look like with stripes/designs. I can't remember the direct link though.

I don't know how stripes would look with the union jack. With Chili Red and a White rood you could always do the Challenge stripes!

 

With a fairly common color combo like CR/W, if I were a girl, what I would do is something bold like maybe some big white flowers (roses, daisies, something like that) on the side and then a few smaller ones on the bonnet and boot! Bonnet stripes are so common, which is why I went with sport stripes on my Sparkling Silver, and I love them!
