Nice, plasti-dip is my cheap friend!

hood, handles, hatch, gas cap, side vents (scuttles i think there called!). I think one guy did his whole car in Plastidip and it looked decent. I did the hood and hatch to hide some paint chips.

 

I just did a license plate surround that I had as a test piece.

Plasti-dip is awesome. The black looks very much like the black plastic they make the wheel arches out of, so I am getting some glossifier before I go nuts on it.

The stuff doesn't just scrape off, but if you get an edge, you can peel it up rather easily if you don't like it. It's much like peeling bad house paint.

I can't say enough about how much I like this stuff.

Maybe I will get some time to post pictures after this weekend, when I plan to eliminate all traces of chrome from my 05 MCS.
