Interior/Exterior NEW MINI GT-P Concept
What happened to the side pics you were going to do. Im actually designing mine after this photoshop you did. Excellent work... I have a 2008 Laser Blue S with the black top and saw this and couldnt believe it. Im assuming black 17's or 18's.
I had my design computer **** itself for a while, and have been super busy workin. I like the look of the Countryman WRC cars flares and sideskirts ( Back looks a bit
though) and thnk they would look sweet as on this car. You could definetly fit 255s under that. I have always been a fan of these rims. Maybe a bit rice, but I have always liked a 6 spoke with some depth. I used to have the TSW ones on my, gulp, corolla GTi Hatchback (before my brother got sandwiched between a semi and an SUV (No injuries to him)).

I like the pshop.
With regards to people not putting the money where their mouth is (basically), I would say get used to it. It's hard to put things together even if 5000 people say "hey we'll buy this". It will only last so long and only so many will buy. Even with respect to older unmade / extremely rare parts, it's still hard to get a group of people together to fabricate something.
Price, no way it's going to be $2500. While I would love that price, that's what a factory JCW aero kit costs already, another more wild, limited production would be even more (to be profitable or cut even).

I have enjoyed reading this thread.
First off I would like to say the design is GREAT!
You have managed to include all of the important parts of a great design.
Ease of production, high interest of public demand.
Your artwork is beyond belief for an "old school" technican.
This is a car Mini should have produced, or could produce if they want to. Several years ago, Mini announced they were going to produce a limited production run of cars based on the "Fireball Tim" Mini. Help a big press confrence and everything. Have never seen one of the cars and have never heard of one being produced.
I'm sure that I am not the only Mini owner who wants something different than a "stock or production" Mini. I have spent thousands of dollars to replace the stock components that aren't up to a high performance level. Shocks, Brakes, Power, Chassis Stiffness. I'm not interested in a 4 door Mini,
3 door Mini or how much stuff can I "cram in the boot". I only need 2 seats. Anyone sitting in the back seats is just unwanted weight.
Mini is a "big" company compared to Morgan and TVR. Yet those companies design and build very original automobiles and make a profit at it. Mini could produce the same concept vehicle in a limited production. They could put on quality components and sell the thing for $40.000 and make a good profit as well as selling a car that would be in high demand.
Too many bean counters control the automotive industry. Where are the Carlos Abarth, Colin Chapman, Ferry Porsche of tomorrow? People who produced something different than the average car. People of vision. I think the GT-P is such a vehicle.

Was doing some more thinking tonight about this.
Would love to see the side view that you come up with!
Found this kit that has a lot of details that are thought about in GT-P
http://www.orciari.it/eng/prodotti.php?con=00040&id=014
It is certainly cheaper than have 5 Axis develop parts for a limited number of customers.
Would also suggest a name change from GT-P. Sounds very ricey.
About 20 different cars have used that designation over the last 40 years.
Just a suggestion.
