Hi,

I am curious. How are the original MINI driving lights mounted to the car? are the brackets/mounting kits properly designed and made?

And are these mounting kits available without the lights?

For I would like to mount PIAA driving lights on the MINI mounting kits so that I will have driving lights that are operated independantly from the car's headlights plus a unique look.

The MINI Driving Lights come in 3 pieces you need to order for a complete Kit.

The Lights - Which includes, the lights and wiring Harness
The Switch - for the inside of the car which replaces a piece of trim on the interior.
and
The Installation Kit - which includes a PRE CUT grill and mounting brackets for the lights.

You would need only the installation kit. I'm not sure how you would mount PIAA lights to these brackets, but I wouldn't rule anything out with a little time, patience and creativity!!
