You would most Likely need to do a signafigant amount of adjusting and body filler to fill in the gaps. IMO it most likely would not be worth the effort unless the kit was free, and you were doing it to show off....the fact it could be done, and you customaztion skills. Even then, it simply might have the wrong contors and not look quite right.

well with the right amount of money, anythings possible... worth it, probably not.

the best way may be to section it here, and there, and there, and everywhere to get it to mate up to the important parts of the r53 bumpers, like at the front grille, ect.... but youd need some skills and the ***** to temporarily destroy $1000s worth of parts lol

For the cost and headache of doing that, you might as well cut up and reshape an R53 kit with body shop stuff.

Ok folks, stage 1 is complete....The skirts are on and ready to be finished this week.
Sorry about the quality of the pics, just got it back yesterday and have had no time to take some day time pics. If you notice the fender flares on the new skirts are about 3/4 of an inch wider then the r53. So the next step, is to sand that extra 3/4 down to match the width of the r53 and then paint that section off body colour so the flares and lines flow evenly....again, my appolgies for the poor quality pics:

Sweet ride, dude... seriously sweet.

So, were they a direct fit? I can't imagine they would fit on without SOME modification. That's an amazing look, though- unique, aggressive, and classy. This is a seriously awesome idea, I can't wait to see where this goes!!

How do they mount? Are all the holes in the same place as the R53 skirts or did they require modifying?

I can't wait to do this to mine. Its gonna make such a huge difference on my car.
