I've seen a couple of sharp Minis with the silver/anthracite interior pieces painted body color. Has anyone done t with a clear red? If so post pics. Actually, post any you may have. I'm thinking of having them painted with a clearcoat tinted withe red on top of the silver to give it not so much a Chili color but a deep reddish silver color.

Sound good or is my mental pic flawed?

Hmmm...I'm not sure about the clear/transparent red approach, but I have seen pix of cars with some nice body-colored (opaque) red interior trim....

gotmini has pictures of their MINI with some nice interior red pieces

And for how-to information, I'd suggest checking out laclede's postings - including a thread where he explained how he painted the downtubes and door Y-tubes in body color.
