Hey Every1,
I just wanted 2 know who has ordered these for their MINI and if u have pics. I just ordered a set from Aesthetic Creations 4 Scoopie, but would like 2 see what other styles folks bought.
Thanks!

Here's Butters!

I created these in MSPaint & printed them on stickyback-plastic
Cheap mods FTW!
(Please excuse the dirty bay...it's much cleaner now)
Definetly post picts when you get yours installed. I like seeing what others have too.
Edit: I tried to attach the word document with Butters' eyes incase anyone wanted to use them...the document was already used in the post linked below, so I can't repost the Doc. It's located in post #7 if anyone wants them.

I have only done the one color & style. I tried to make them user friendly. You should be able to copy the image out of the word document (link in above post)& Paste it into MSPaint or a more option laden photo editing program, then match your paint color.
I just used MSPaint & played with the color options until I found a match for LY.
Since I don't have the avalibility of other color MINIs, it would be hard for me to match your MINI's color...but I would if I could

... every1's eyes look sooo cool!
Bein' a girl 'n all, I'm partial 2 the ones w/eyelashes
rkw: I've seen those b4 ... u're right, they are edgier
iceckid: U have the bloodshot ones! Kewl!
not4no1: That is verrrrry cool ... I have some leftover paint and could play around w/photoshop 'til I got a close match ... are they removable if u wanna change your style?
I'm curious 2 know if u've had people open your bonnet and notice them ... any reactions?

I chose mine because they were "girlier" and my Smurfette is definitely a girl!
People have noticed when the hood is up. I was having a battery issue and the guy at the auto shop got a real kick out of them!

Actually, had the same eyes been available w/o being bloodshot, I would have preferred those. I'm quite impressed with the detail level with the eyes I got.

They do look very detailed (saw them on the AC site close-up)--just awesome! I can't wait 4 mine 2 arrive! They're just peel 'n stick, right? Of course, being careful of air bubbles and the like ...
Yup, the AC eyes are pretty much peel and stick. Of course I cleaned off where they were to be applied really good (washed, towel dried and then a little isoprophyl alcohol, air dry and then apply eyes). I think all AC products come with really good directions, at least mine did!

Excellent! I never thought about applying alcohol--gr8 idea! Thanks, guys!
Quick off-topic question: has any1 ever cleaned under their bonnet? If so, is it really OK 2 just spray water in there? I've never done it on ANY of my past cars (obviously) and am reallly leery about doing it on Scoopie. If u have, what did u use and what was the process?

It's best to do on a warm day when the car can dry out better. If you have a cold air intake or an air filter that is exposed, then you want to cover this up with a plastic bag. Stay away from spraying too much water around the electrical components. It's a pain, but I find myself covering the alternator with a plastic bag as well. I usually spray down parts with some simple green or equivalent, let it sit for a few minutes, and then spray it down. There are certain areas I hit hard with water, and others I try to avoid. The radiator and a/c condensor I hit pretty hard along with alot of the plastic areas like where your eye decals go. The top of the engine, I try to do with a rag and cleaner. After it's all done, I usually leave the bonnet up and let it sit. Stay away from pressure washers with really high psi levels.
