I like everything about my car except the chrome mirror covers. I want to swap them out for some black ones. Is this something I can do myself and at what price? My cars a lease so I would assume I need to salvage the chrome ones to put back on when the lease is up. Thanks all

 

It's not too hard, but you really need to be patient. There are plenty of write ups here on the site that tell you how to do it. Here is a link to a good write up on the Mini2 site with pictures.

Does anyone know if this works with powerfold mirrors or is there another link that I can't find to show how it's done? Also, are there any videos of this procedure floating around?
