I'm thinking of just getting the rear apron. I think it makes the rear end look much better but I don't want the front apron. I'm concerned the car will look too "low" in the back but I'm not sure. It doesn't seem as low as the front apron. I may or may not add the side skirts as well. Any thoughts? Pics?

Yes, the 7 parts can be ordered seperately.

The MINI is a totally personalized car. You can trick it out just the way you want it to look. Most popular from the Aero Kit are the Black Grills and the side skirts! however, some people only get the front bumper or the back bumper. The "silver grill" on the back bumper is a decal that is stuck on.

For photos, go to the left side of the screen and click Member MINIs.... go to the very end and start back toward the front! I just picked up my Chili Red/White MCS on Tuesday and I posted the photos here Wed. I have the full Aero Kit.

Also in Member MINIs - go to page 8 and you'll see photos of a Yellow MINI that has the Aero Kit - it's beautiful!

and after that, if you page through those photos, you'll see lots of photos of every type of exterior look you can imagine! You can spend hours admiring them!

if you only want one piece like the side skirts, and you want to have your own body shop paint them and install them yourself, can you still finance them with the rest of the car?

The rear apron or bumper is fine but probably best matched with the two side skirts all painted- either with the wheels arches black or body colored.
Here is an MCS with full aerokit from behind with wheel arches and bottom trim on the skirts and bumpers in black.
