Interior/Exterior rear light cover busted....suggestions?

rear light cover busted....suggestions?

So I stopped at the bank and came out to find the image below. Awesome. No other damage to the car though.

Anyway how can I fix this? I'm not going through insurance of course.

Can I buy just the rear cover? Do I need to buy an entirely new taillight? Do you think it can be exposed to rain in the mean time? Big install job? Anything else I need to know?

HELP!!

well its screwed to the trim ring i think?... it all just pulls off (the trim+lense) looks like the light is still sealed so it should be fine
