I'd like some feedback on metal floormats from anyone who has them.......the pros and/or the cons for daily driving.

I don't have them but I would think they'd get slippery when wet and after some wear and tear they may look pretty scratched up.

Lookup Nobull60. He has chrome diamond plate floor mats. They look great, but in a car with a power to weight ratio of the MCS, 30lbs is about 2hp.

Had them in a GTI. Scratched easily, but cleaned even easier. Slippery when wet but I usually sit down in my car while driving (standing being difficult). Looked great with the grey interior it had. They were aluminum, no rust, and practically non-destructible. Put them on over the existing mats with no problems.
