Anybody found (or fabricated) an alternative to the plain rear valance pockets on the Aero S package. Envision a solution similar to MiniMania's rear Aero stainless grill inserts for the Mini aero package, but in black.

there's a thread somewhere here about that. I think if you search for "aero plastic grille" you'll find it. Yeah , it's crazy that the S Aero valance grilles look worse that the stock..

 

Thanks for replying. I tried searching with your recommendation, but bombed. I too, know I also read a thread where someone was going to cut out the area, and mount grill material from behind.

I did the side skirts with rear valance, keeping the original front. I like the colored grill, etc. on the original S, but wanted the side skirts. I liked the original rear valance too, but to my eye it wouldn't carry the side skirt line to the back, being higher. I'm very happy with the choice, from all angles, but directly from the back, "not good". What were they thinking?
