Hey guys...

Im thinking of shaving the front and rear emblems off the car and getting the holes filled/painted... does anyone have an idea of what this might cost?

Also,

How much would it cost to change the color of the roof? Currently its white but im thinking black...

 

To paint/fill in the areas where the badges are will require a complete re-spray of the body part (rear hatch and hood) if you do it right. I was quoted $500 to do the roof at my dealership when I asked some time ago...not really sure if thats an average price to pay or not. FWIW I think the white roof makes your car

 

A solid color vinyl roof job should run you about $250, if that's the route you were thinking. Find someone other than the dealer to do it. A professional shouldn't charge more than $70/hour.

I would vinyl the roof. That way if you don't like it, it's reversible. I'd say the same for the emblems too. Maybe Lyle can do something cool for you.
