One Piece Dash

Coming soon to a MINI near me

The epoxy is drying over night at the body shop. Tomorrow they do all the body work and paint it and hopefully it goes back in the car on Saturday.

No...on the later cars with the three piece dash, the passenger side airbag exits through the top of the dash pad.

Well no luck today. Thankfully the guy is willing to open up the shop for an hour tomorrow so I can go pick it up.

I got my fingers crossed for good weather so I can install it and get pics for you guys (and see it for myself)

Glad to know it doesn't effect the airbag. Can't wait to see this. Did you already mention the color your painting it to?

^^I decided on a semi-flat black

Its actually the color dodge used on the stripes of the Challenger in the 70s

The pics came out really bad. Im buying a new camera today so I'll get some good ones later on. Its not so "brown" and its alot less glossy in person.

Please excuse the state of my interior and lack of down tubes. I'll put em back in eventually.

Anybody else besides m444ssy (who I was inspired by) have a truly custom dash? I was searching before I brought this to my body guy but I didnt find anything.

Heres a camera phone shot before I put it in the car. The whole left side is blocked by the steering wheel in the other pics. Here you can see all of it.

Great looking dash. I like the single piece as well as your crazy gauges.
