Checkmate Bonnet on a R56 S?

Hi Guys!!!
First of all, let me say a thing. This is the GREATEST MINI forum in the whole world, that's sure.
I wrote from Italy, if anyone among you will decide to visit my country, i'm here waiting for him .
Let's go: my real intention is to apply checkmate bonnet(colour satin aluminum) on my R56 S Astro Black. Weird thing?I think that it's only an original one.
Unfortunely, i can't realize this stuff: here in Italy, there's not anyone that works hardly on graphic realizations on MINI.
Can you help me?I trust in the Big America to realize my dream.

P.s. I love american people. I have a direct line with Aron of Outmotoring from where i buy often badges holder for my italian friends. Those are so cute!!!
Can you suggest me a guy that sells also badges?I found Todd of Motoring File but he's not really fast in shipping.
Cheers
Marco

What was different about the checkmate bonnet? I know the A pillar had the checkerboard graphic, which is available at a number of places for the R56 I have the one from AC on mine (pics in gal.). I never noticed any difference with the bonnet though, however, if its a graphic I'm sure a number of the vendors can accommodate what you want, try:

Oh yea AC does that, they do great work btw, but it usually does take awhile to get. Checkmate stripe is the first one on this page and available in Lt Silver:

btw marrusso it looks from your pic that your hood scoop is beginning to sag, although its tough to tell from the pic, thats been a major problem here in the US.

That's really great. I didn't find on the site...
I proceed with checkout. Shipping costs are included too. It's also really cheap. 60 dollars...

Marco,

How would you compare a Fiat to a Mini? We Americans are going to be seeing more Fiat on the roads with the whole Chrysler/Fiat deal.

If you are looking for some good accessories try Moss MIni. They have a real good selection of parts and accessories.

I know, i heard about that deal.
I could tell you, guys, that Fiat build low cost machines. Normal engines, not great ideas on building a car, too plastics on interior.
So, you can't compare a fiat with a MINI. They belong to two different sectors.
For example, Fiat 500... It's the real clone of MINI. You'll understand this stuff when you'll see it on your road. It was all cheated from our beatiful MINI, you can see it on small things like as chrome stuff on the car and so on.
In italy there are more 500 than people, i'm not just kidding.
Even if i have some doubt regard the success of 500 in US, you're smarter than italians. And also the situation of fuel is really different. Here we pay 1,30 euro per lt that is around 2 dollars. How much do you pay for petrol?Really few. And so you'll keep to buy enormous car.
I envy so much because you can bring at home a MUSTANG GT 500(that is a monster here in Italy) paying as i pay for a... GOLF!
Yes guys... It's true.
I'll envy for the rest of my life, LOL.
And don't forget tha MINI in Usa in really cheaper than Europe.
There MINI is considered a little car like Smart here.
Here MINI is considered a lust car, because it costs too much.
In conclusion, keep on holding heavily your MINI. Don't sell it for a plasticous 500.
